Active at Altitude is excited to announce a partnership with Saucony. The US company is a market leading manufacturer of athletic shoes. They specialize in racing, running, and walking shoes, as well as general running apparel. Saucony will provide apparel and shoes for the coaching staff for Active at Altitude, ready for their 2014 running camp schedule. They will also provide technical tee shirts for runners attending the 2014 women’s running camps, as well as merchandise options available for purchase by Active at Altitude clients.
Over the past seven years, Saucony has made major strides in the specialty store business, moving up to challenge for the number two market share spot. Saucony has been a leader in product development with its Kinvara series of lightweight shoes and has signed a number of athletes to help market the brand.
Scott Schilter the Saucony representative for Colorado, comments: “We are thrilled to work with Active at Altitude. Saucony strives to inspire the human spirit through running and Active at Altitude exemplifies this in the opportunity they give participants to live a healthy active lifestyle.”
Active at Altitude owner and Camp Director, Terry Chiplin, adds: “We are delighted that Saucony have agreed to partner with us. I have long held a great respect for their product and philosophy – this partnership will enable us to take our brand to new markets and expand our portfolio. Our training camps and events give Saucony a unique opportunity to have their products be presented directly to their target market. Grass roots initiatives like this have the potential to go beyond the scope of the initial exposure for Saucony. We look forward to working with the Saucony team this coming year, and in the future.”
